At the People That Love we have been blessed to receive guests
from all over the world. This give us a wonderful opportunity to
be a witness to all nations.
Over the years we have welcomed peoples from Vietnam, China,
Cambodia, Thailand, Russia, Poland, Israel, Palestine, Bosnia,
Albania, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Spain, Italy, England,
Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Nigeria, Congo, South
Africa, Columbia, Ghana, Trinidad, and others. And, friends
from practically every state in the US have stayed in our
emergency shelter.
Truly, the Lord gives us, and those who support the missionary
work that we do a chance to;..."teach all the nations,"

Meditate On Today:
We wish to thank you for the many
compliments that we have received about our
website. It is important, however, that you
understand that we are mere mortals of
limited education and understanding. Any
good thing that we accomplish is done by the
will of God and created by the guidance of
His Holy Spirit.
It is our desire that all people constantly give
Him all the glory and honor for any success
that they have in their lives for it is by Him
that we are gifted to do great things.

We love the poetry and richness of the
Shakespearian English of the King
James version of the Word. It does not,
however, translate to today's youth. If
the incarnated Jesus walked among us
today He would talk just as His
audience does (and dress in a like
manner as well) in order for His
message to be received.

Our imperative is to be able to get the
Gospel to everyone on every level and
in order to do that we need to be able to
translate the ancient message to
2009's language.

When we study we do so from various
translations with a number of study
guides available and dedicate lots of
time each day to do so. This gives us
the ability to not only quote scripture
but to think scripture. Then we can
speak in a manner that is comfortable
to our listeners.

Kids need to be able to be heard and,
they need to be able to listen. Our
world has brought adulthood to them
much too rapidly. The pressures to do
adult things are tremendous, often
impossible to resist. The bible offers a
clear cut guide on how to live a full
and morally satisfying life through
Jesus. Our youth can be taught to be
active members of society without
succumbing to it's evils and, have a
rich life in doing so.

Many children and parents come to
the People That Love daily for help and
inspiration. We are comfortable in
being examples of the Lord's will for all
of His children. It is our good pleasure
to share the joy that only Jesus can
give, in any situation and in any era.

When you give of your finances or
your stuff, you are giving the Word of
life to a troubled generation. Please

Annual Back to School Day '09
Free school supplies will be given away on Tuesday, August 11 at 11:00 am.
Children in Pre-K through High School are elligible. Registration is required and
all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Registration will begin on Monday, July 13, between 10:45 am and 2:00 pm and
will continue Monday-Friday until Friday, August 7.
All registrants will receive a numbered ticket which must be turned in on the day
of the event to receive school supplies.
